The most important places I had visited in Paris - Paris as i saw with my eyes (2)

Historical monuments here and so many back to the nineteenth century.
Of the most important and most famous landmarks here.

The Eiffel Tower Is the symbol of the city of Paris and is an iron tower with a height of 324 meters, there is in Paris, in the far north-west of Park Champ - de - March, near the River Seine. Created by Gustave Eiffel and his associates on the occasion of the International Exhibition of Paris in 1889.



The process of periodic maintenance for the tower and painting is performed every 7 years so as not to rust and it is regrettable that during my visit to Paris the elevator of the  tower was to hang and I could not climb to the upper floors (it consists of 3 floors) and the number of stairs 1665 and of course I could not go up the ladder.

Arch of Triumph (Arc de Triomphe)
Arc is located at the top through the Champs Elysees in Paris. The Arc de Triomphe is located in the area of ​​Charles de Gaulle.
They start to build the Arc de Triomphe at the beginning of the nineteenth century. Napoleon Bonaparte wanted it to be a symbol of the victories of the armies of the French Empire. However, the actual finishing was in 1836 at the time of Louis Philippe. The height of arch 49.50 meters and was designed by architect Chelgran on a hill (Chaillot).

The interior walls bearing 660 names from the names of military leaders of Baron Haussmann, who returned the capital planning and added parts to the Arc de Triomphe, and 96 of the names of his victories. The French also established after the First World War, the grave of the Unknown Soldier below the arch there is a permanent  flame in honor to his memory.

Outside Egypt there are three obelisks of Cleopatra of Egypt, are found in London, Paris and America .The  obelisks  are columns with a pointed pyramidal peaks of  long carved rock , made by the ancient Egyptians.
The giant Egyptian obelisk Occupies the center of Place de la Concorde and is decorated with hieroglyphic writing.It has been built in the reign of Pharaoh Ramses II. In the past  it was decorating the entrance to the Luxor Temple.

The governor of Egypt Ottoman Muhammad Ali gave the obelisk when she was about 3,300 years old as a gift to France. King Louis Philippe  order of  placing them in Place de la Concorde in center of  Paris, a region near the place, who was executed in which King Louis XVI and Queen Marie Antoinette with a knife guillotine or (knife gelatin ).
The length of the red granite column rising 23 meters and weighs more than 250 tons.

The road of the Champs Elysees in Paris Is a path that is decorated with trees and is one of the most important streets in Paris and of the finest and most luxurious street for tourist and business in the world, there are the finest shops, global and fine dining restaurants and cafes on the side of the pavement and the road side, at the end of the street there is the Arc de Triomphe a features of the city, and at the other end of the street there is the
obelisk of Cleopatra  in the Place de la Concorde .
